CJ’S RESTAURANT OPENS AT FORMER AIRPORT TERMINAL

(Bloomington, IL- February 12, 2008)….The Bloomington-Normal Airport Authority Board of Commissioners welcomed C.J.’s Restaurant to its new airport location with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Tuesday, February 12, 2008 at 11:00 a.m.

CJ Stolfa, owner and operator of the restaurant, Paul Harmon, Chairman of the Bloomington-Normal Airport Authority, Mike Malone, Executive Director of the McLean County Chamber of Commerce cut the ribbon to officially open the restaurant as BNAA Board members, staff, and representatives from the various contractors applauded.

The new restaurant is located in the former Central Illinois Regional Airport terminal building at 2901 E. Empire in Bloomington , in an area now referred to as CIRA Commons.  Two former restaurants were housed in this location but the site has been renovated and expanded significantly.

More space, accessible parking and a location closer to the community prompted the locally owned and operated restaurant’s move to the airport campus site from its south Bloomington location.

Hours for CJ’s at the new location are 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday and Monday, 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday, and 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
